Our collection includes traditional profiles, decorative period-inspired designs and more restrained architectural cornice suitable for restorations, renovations and contemporary interiors.

Manufactured using traditional fibrous plaster techniques, our cornice provides the depth, definition and crisp detailing associated with genuine architectural plasterwork. We supply decorative plaster cornice for projects throughout Oxfordshire, including Oxford, Abingdon, Witney, Bicester, Banbury, Didcot and surrounding towns and villages. Oxfordshire has a diverse architectural character, ranging from historic cottages and traditional village homes to Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian properties, larger period houses, converted buildings and contemporary renovations. In older properties, decorative plaster cornice can help reinstate architectural detail that has been lost through previous alterations. Traditional profiles can also be selected to complement existing ceiling roses, fireplaces, panelling and decorative joinery. Plaster cornice can also work effectively in contemporary interiors. Simpler profiles provide clean architectural definition at ceiling level without introducing excessive ornamentation, making genuine plaster cornice suitable for modern renovations and extensions as well as period homes. British Mouldings also manufactures plaster coving, ceiling roses and other decorative mouldings, allowing complementary architectural details to be selected throughout a property.

Need Installation Assistance?

British Mouldings provides professional plaster cornice installation for suitable projects throughout Oxfordshire. Our experienced installers undertake projects ranging from individual rooms to larger renovations, restorations and multi-room installations. We can also advise on suitable profiles where ceiling height, room proportions and existing architectural details need to be considered. Fibrous plaster cornice requires accurate setting out, cutting and finishing, particularly around internal and external corners. Careful installation allows the profile to flow cleanly around the room, with joints finished to create a continuous moulding. As Oxfordshire is outside our main East Anglia installation area, the location and scale of the project will be considered when providing an installation quotation.
