The Georgian Lighting cornice 160x170mm is a large profile intended to bring a confident architectural presence to medium and generously sized rooms. Defined by a broad ogee curve supported by clean feature lines, the profile sits almost equally across the wall and ceiling to create a composed, well-proportioned boundary. This large Georgian style coving, traditionally referred to as coving, includes a modified top edge developed to compliment wall-mounted LEDs. When offset from the ceiling and paired with LEDs, the ogee curve takes on a gentle upward wash of light, emphasising the profile’s sweep and adding a measured layer of ambience.

Georgian Influence

This LED coving draws from the balanced geometry characteristic of Georgian decorative work. The wide ogee curve offers a smooth visual transition while remaining suitably understated, making it effective in interiors that favour clarity and structured detailing. Craftsmanship & Material

Every length of the Georgian Lighting cornice 160x170mm is hand-produced in fibrous plaster at our workshop in Norfolk. Traditional casting ensures the ogee curve and supporting lines remain clean and consistent whilst forming a dependable coving for LED lights. The fibrous plaster construction provides stability once installed and decorated, aligning with the expectations associated with the coving for led lights category. The modified top edge is cast in one piece with the profile, helping create the crisp shadow line sought after in lighting-led interior schemes.
