Chelsea

This project required extensive Mouldings to be applied to the exterior of 3 Georgian townhouses in Chelsea. British Mouldings were contracted to carry out the work and alongside the architect to produce a series of Mouldings that resembled the lost originals.

The client had found photographs of the original Mouldings that had been removed in the past to reduce maintenance but had left the building lacking character when compared to the rest of the street. Our team set about designing the new Mouldings and manufacturing parts in Glass Reinforced Concrete to closely represent the originals in the photographs. This included a full roofline cornice, string course, architraves, entablature and corbels. The parts were manufactured by our team at our Norwich workshop and delivered to the site for installation and finishing by our expert team.
